As an artist and writer, my work is driven by a deep commitment to uncovering and questioning the truth in every story I tell. Writing is not only my passion but my calling, a journey I undertake with a focus on growth, creativity, and integrity. My mission is to craft authentic stories that resonate with readers on a profound level, encouraging reflection, connection, and ultimately, transformation. I aim to be traditionally published, allowing my words to reach wider audiences and make an impact, while creating a career that reflects my dedication to (and love for) the craft of writing.

This path has not been without its challenges.

After over a decade as an attorney and corporate executive, I made the bold decision to leave life as a corporate attorney and pursue writing full-time. I meticulously planned for my transition, doing my best to ensure that it would cause minimal disruption to my family. But life had other plans. Three days after submitting my resignation, while competing in the Peachtree 10K road race, I suffered heatstroke, which resulted in a massive seizure, a traumatic brain injury, and several other complex complications. In an instant, my plans were shattered, and I found myself in a battle to reclaim my creative voice.

The injury altered the artistic center of my brain, and since then, I’ve struggled to craft and connect with the stories that once flowed so freely. But I refused to surrender. Day by day, I’ve fought for my art, for my passion, and for the person I know I am meant to be. This difficult journey has only deepened my commitment to honesty, courage, justice, and kindness, which are at the core of every piece I create.

Logistics have shifted. Timing has changed, but my dedication remains the same. My brain is still recovering, but my vision has never been clearer. This is my redemption story. Ending unknown. This is me, bloody, bruised, but brave. This is me, not easily broken. I’m back writing every day, and my current project draws loosely on a deeply personal event that has forever changed my life and strengthened my character.

But it’s bigger than me. I believe in the power of words to teach, encourage, and inspire, and I’m committed to using my talents to support and uplift fellow artists. My journey as a writer is one of perseverance, growth, and deep purpose, and through it all, I remain dedicated to authenticity—both in life and in art.
